The Hampton’s real estate market has shifted… 
 
Over the month of May, 90 houses went in to contract and 131 new listings came on the market. As we see more inventory coming on weekly, and less go into contract, we seem to have shifted into a buyers market. 
 
This is a great opportunity for a savvy buyer to enter the marketplace.
 
Over the past week there were 22 Listings that went into contract from Westhampton to Montauk.

Compared to this same week last year (2024), there were 27 Listings that went into contract.

Which is a year over year DECREASE of 19%.

 

This same week in 2023, there were 14 Listings that went into contract.

Compared to this past week, it’s an INCREASE of 57%

Over the past week, the Dollar Volume was $100 Million.

Compared to this same week last year (2024), the Dollar Volume was $64 Million.

Which is a year over year INCREASE of 56%.

 

This same week in 2023, the Dollar Volume was $38 Million.

Compared to this past week, it’s an INCREASE of 163%.

  

This past week there were 31 New Listings coming onto the market.
